Trap fishing is one of the stationary fishing gear with many variations in design, material used, operation technique and target species. Various kinds of traps, such as fish trap, prawn trap, eel trap, crab trap and filter trap. The large trap, “Myin Won Sae” or “Shaw” has been used in some areas as industrial fishing gear for many years ago in Myanmar.
