Traps
(Khmer name Lop )
Trap
fishing
There
are many types of traps in Cambodian waters. They are constructed from different
types of material. For example crab traps (Khmer name Lop Kdarm) were previously
constructed of bamboo and were very big whereas now they are constructed of
net and can be collapsed. This means that one fisherman can use more than
100 traps.
