Hook
and line
Horizontal
longlines (Khmer name Santouch Ro Noung)
This
is the simplest of fishing gears and requires only a line and a baited hook.
The line is equipped with hooks which may be single or multiple, big or small
depending on the species desired. These fishing gears are commonly used in
Sihanoukville and Koh Kong (Tab. 16).
