Papar or perampun (vertical longline)
This gear is made of a PA monofilament mainline with about
20 nylon branchlines (see Figure 31) fitted
with luring straws attached to it. The fishes caught are usually
jacks, round scads and other pelagic species. The gear is most
effective with the aid of FADs.
