Kilong (Deep-water stake trap or fish corral)
This gear is shaped like a giant arrowhead (see Figure
17). It is made of poles and chicken wire mesh. The fish
are led towards a structure by a leader that is called the pekarangan
that leads to a playground to the terminal pound or cod end
where they are caught.
