  Introduction
     
     Since 1978, the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) has been production of     the “Fishery Statistical Bulletin for the Southeast China Sea Area” from 1979-2007. As fishery statistics     is considered as a tool that has been used a basis to facilitate development planning and management     of fisheries, fisheries statistic items and data set collected by countries could vary on the priority needs   and objectives of the countries. After 2007, SEAFDEC necessitate to improve the fishery statistic system   to “Fishery Statistical Bulletin for the Southeast Asia” in the new website.
